To acknowledge the presence of all mothers around the globe, mother's day is celebrated across more than 46 countries of the world. This is a special day to honour all the mothers of the world who have done a lot for their family and society.
Rainbow Academy Senior Sec. School celebrated this day to make its students realize the importance and significance of mothers in their life. Students made beautiful cards for their mother and gave away gifts to their mothers. All the cards were displayed in the classroom. All the students were very happy & they promised that they would always love & care their mothers.
The grand 'Investiture Ceremony' of RAINBOW ACADEMY SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, Teenpani, Haldwani was organised on 27 of July 2017. The chief guest of the programme was B.E.O. hon'ble Shri Harendra Mishra Ji.
The programme was started with the lightening of Diya by the chief guest and was followed by a Saraswati Vandana, seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the source of knowledge.
Principal of the school Mrs. Ruchi Sharma welcomed the cheif guest and all the dignitaries in her welcome speech and also congratulated the senate members further telling them how to carry out their duties and responsibilities.
Independence day is annually celebrated on 15th August, as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15th August 1947 act 1947, the UK parliament passed the Indian Independence act 1947, transferring legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent assembly. India, after independence, still retained king George VI as the head of state until its transition to full republican constitution.
Independence coincided with the partition of India, in which British India was along religious lines into the dominions of India and Pakistan; the partition was accompanied by violent riots and mass casualties, and the displacement of nearly 15 million people due to religious violence. On 15 Aug, 1947, the Prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian National flag above the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort.
India's 3rd national festival, Gandhi Jayanti, is celebrated by the entire nation to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of our nation-Mahatma Gandhi. Rainbow celebrated bapu's birthday in school, on October 2"d , 2017, with great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotism.
The assembly for the primary section began with a special tribute to Gandhi ji. Children shared anecdotes from Gandhiji's life, Deepak joshi of class 11 sang a song, Prateek of class 10 spoke on Gandhi ji, Harshita Joshi and Manisha Rathour of class 11 organised a quiz on various contributions made by Bapu to India's freedom struggle. The highlight of the assembly was a song glorifying Gandhi ji and how he heralded a new era for our country.
RENAISSANCE is the unique name given to our school exhibition which was held on November 26, 2017 Students enthusiastically participated in this exhibition and they really worked hard .Students gave their hundred percent to make this exhibition remarkable. They made many projects, charts, decorated the walls, bulletin boards. They made working models too. Principals of other schools also visited our school exhibition with their students.
Our Respected Teachers also helped the students in making their models and projects. Parents also visited and they liked our projects. We represented our School's projects and models to the visitors confidently. All of them appreciated
The entravaganza of the year 2017 'RASA¬AVATARAM' was celebrated in a grand manner on 27th December, 2017. The chief guest of this very grand event was Mr. Harbir singh PCS additional distt. Magistrate, Nainital. The theme of the annual function was Mythology.
This auspicious event was organized in Jasmine
grand. On that bright day the little stars of our school outshined their talents. The event started with the lamp lightening by the chief guest.
In India as a ritual, we start every auspicious occasion by worshiping Lord Ganesha. So we too started our grand event with Ganesh Vandana, followed by Saraswati Vandana.
Christmas which falls on 25 december every year, is the time to rejoice and recollect all the good memories of the year which is passing by. The winter carnival begins with christmas and continues till the new year comes. It is a religious and cultural festival of christian community and is celebrated every year to mark the birth os Jesus Christ
Republic Day celebrations take place with patriotic fervor and zest in schools as the children in all grades learn about India's political history, freedom struggle and the Constitution as a part of their curriculum. They learn how the great sons of the motherland have fought to attain freedom and make India a sovereign state. Therefore, the children feel inspired and participate actively in the Republic Day ceremony and celebration.
A March Past was conducted by
the students from various houses while the school hoisted by the Chief Guest and the Principal, teachers, school staff and students from different grades and classes join together in the singing of the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana and Vande Mataram. The National Pledge which is an oath of allegiance to the Republic of India recited by one and all to mark the occasion.
